The basic model of what we're doing here is as follows:

• Indie artists submit their tunes to us and, if the songs are consistent with what we're about, they are posted in our Song Jury.
• We notify Song Jurors who might like the genre of the songs submitted and they log in, listen and vote.
• The votes are averaged and songs that meet or exceed our approval criteria are posted on the public part of the site and are available for download.
• Listeners and fans support the artists of their choice by listening to or downloading the songs they like and then 'tipping' the artist using the 'Tip Jar' feature.
• Fans and Listeners can tip an artist much the same way someone would tip an artist playing at a coffee house through our 'tip jar' feature. Please be generous. Creating and recording songs requires much time, energy and resource.
• A portion of the 'Tip' proceeds goes to a charitable nonprofit called Crossover Sound Waves Inc. This organization helps families and children with critical housing needs.
