I have a small musical history which has helped shape the way I write and record. Way back in 1987, I was a founding member of the band "Veil of Ashes". I played with this band for 3 or 4 years. We had the opportunity to get signed to Graceland/Frontline records and recorded with Gene Eugene producing. Steve Hindalong and Derry Doughterly did some back up vocals for us. During that time I also did percussion on Riki Michelle's debut album. Here's some links on Veil of Ashes: http://christiannewwave.wordpress.com/2006/05/20/veil-of-ashes/ http://www.knottheads.com/bvdetail.php?id=voa After that I joined Justin Dillon Stevens and Masaki Liu in their new Roots/Rockabilly band Radiation Ranch. We added Sam Hernandez on Bass and changed the name to the Dime Store Prophets. I recorded an album that was engineered and produced by Masaki and released under 5 Minute Walk Records. Just before the band went national in 1995, I left it for the ministry. Here's some more about Dime Store Prophets: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dime_Store_Prophets http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rYXTX1GHok Since that time I've been serving at the Valley Vineyard Church as a worship leader and youth leader. I am currently the pastor of worship and youth there.
