Artist Profile

My biggest passion is to bring people closer to God through Music.90% of the songs I've written are from God's heart to us or from our heart to God. My biggest dream is to write a song about God's passion for us that is so catchy it gets stuck in people's heads all over the world! so they can't help singing about how amazingly good God is.

I have a new little project studio where I do home recordings. I use Ableton Live 8 to record plus Universal Audio's UAD plugins for effects. I do all of the instruments myself which is why nothing is very complicated! Even though I'm a drummer by trade, I end up just programming the drums because it is so much cheaper and easier. The guilt from that keeps me up at night!

Instrument-1: Drums
Instrument-2: Piano, Keys
Instrument-3: Guitars and Bass

I have a small musical history which has helped shape the way I write and record. Way back in 1987, I was a founding member of the band "Veil of Ashes". I played with this band for 3 or 4 years. We had the opportunity to get signed to Graceland/Frontline records and recorded with Gene Eugene producing. Steve Hindalong and Derry Doughterly did some back up vocals for us. During that time I also did percussion on Riki Michelle's debut album.

After that I joined Justin Dillon Stevens and Masaki Liu in their new Roots/Rockabilly band Radiation Ranch. We added Sam Hernandez on Bass and changed the name to the Dime Store Prophets. I recorded an album that was engineered and produced by Masaki and released under 5 Minute Walk Records. Just before the band went national in 1995, I left it for the ministry.

Since that time I've been serving at the Valley Vineyard Church as a worship leader and youth leader. I am currently the pastor of worship and youth there.
